Zeitraffervideo der Milchstraße - Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Zunächst teilen sich Mond und Milchstraße den Himmel über dem Uluru (Ayers Rock), doch schon bald geht der Mond unter und entfacht damit das Farbenspiel der Milchstraße. Die magellanschen Wolken kommen später auch noch hinzu.
Beschreibung
Der Sternenhimmel über dem Ayers Rock (Uluru) in Australien ist besonders beeindruckend, da im Outback keine störenden Lichtquellen weit und breit sind. Außerdem hat der Südhimmel einige interessante Himmelsobjekte zu bieten, wie z.B. die magellanschen Wolken und das berühmte Sternbild Kreuz des Südens. Die Milchstraße ist so stark, dass sie sogar bei Mondschein sehr gut sichtbar ist. Der Monduntergang sieht fast aus wie ein Sonnenuntergang, da er von ein paar kleinen Wolken verdeckt wird. Nachdem der Mond verschwunden ist, entfacht die Milchstraße das volle Spektrum ihrer Farben und zeigt sich in ihrer vollsten Pracht. Das Zentrum unserer Galaxie legt sich langsam über den berühmten Felsen, bis die Milchstraße schließlich untergeht und Platz macht für die magellanschen Wolken. Die kleine magellansche Wolke wandert als erstes ins Bild, bevor kurz darauf auch die große magellansche Wolke folgt. Kurz vor Sonnenuntergang ziehen noch ein paar Wolken durch das Bild. Hier kann man erkennen, dass es im australischen Outback wirklich keinerlei Lichtverschmutzung gibt, denn die Wolken sind tiefschwarz - schon bei geringen künstlichen Lichtquellen werden die Wolken normalerweise von unten so stark angestrahlt, dass sie sich leicht rötlich färben.
Der Uluru (oder auch Ayers Rock) ist leider etwa 22km Luftlinie vom Aufnahmeort entfernt und daher nur recht klein im Bild. Der Grund hierfür ist, dass ich keine Genehmigung erhalten habe, um eine Nacht im Uluru National Park zu verbringen.
