Telescopes on top of the Roque de los Muchachos, La Palma

It's Polaris, which is in the middle of this timelapse video. The uncountable number of stars on the sky creates perfect astrophysical conditions for observing with the telescopes. Also the milkyway is visible.

Welzheim Observatory, Germany

This timelapse video shows the milkyway in Germany. Light pollution is relatively low at the Observatoy in Welzheim, nevertheless the stars and the milkyway are a bit extenuated. You can also see Polaris, the star which everything around turns.
